Did you know that the skin is the organ most commonly affected by tumors? Skin cancer can have serious consequences, which is why early detection is very important.
Even in childhood, UV light can cause skin cancer to occur later in life. It is all the more important that you and your family members are regularly examined for the first signs.

Liver spots and birthmarks are photographed and analysed using a computer microscope (FotoFinder®). This procedure offers a very high level of diagnostic certainty and can easily assess the course of pigmented skin lesions and liver spots.
Even the smallest changes are visible, which is why skin cancer and its precursors should be recognised as early as possible. We also use these findings in later examinations to make a comparison. Unnecessary surgeries and scars can be safely avoided.
We recommend that you have a full skin check performed once a year from the age of 18. This is especially true for people with lots of moles and pigment marks. We perform this check-up privately, which is why the costs are not covered by statutory health insurance. Private health insurers fully reimburse the cost of skin cancer screening.
